So you want to lose weight. Well you’re in good company. Over the past few years, estimates have shown that 70% of Americans are “dieting” in order to lose weight. Unfortunately, this is one of the most common problems that we deal with and there is no cure-all, no one program that is a guaranteed weight-loss solution for every person. The good news is that there is a lot to choose from out there.
Dieting is a tricky thing. There’s more than just “cutting out all the bad stuff” and killing yourself at the gym. Although eating a balanced diet and regular exercise are both vital, there are other contributors like stress-levels, sleep deprivation and even self-esteem that can cause how much weight you are able to lose- and gain.
If you’re thinking that you need to lose some weight, do some reading before you start. Based on your body type, there may be a type of dieting that works better for you. The carb-diet is a popular one, but not one everyone should try. Some people are suited to “eat everything you want and still lose weight” (although I would recommend that route) while others may just be able to cut back quantities and succeed.
The bottom-line is that when it comes to dieting, there’s no right way to do it. Many Americans struggle with this problen but eventually, you will be able to find a way to lose your unwanted weight. Stay tuned for further ideas about better dieting.
